Chulabhorn Research Institute Awarded Plaque of Honor for the Consumer Protection Research Network from the Food and Drug Administration
The Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) was awarded a Plaque of Honor for the Consumer Protection Research Network by the Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Public Health, at the National Thai FDA Forum 2026 held under the theme “From Local to Global: Research Builds the Foundation, Standards Build the Reputation, Reaching International Recognition”, on February 27, 2026 at the Vayupak Convention Center, Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jutamaad Satayavivad, Vice President for Scientific Affairs of the CRI, representing the Institute, received a “Plaque of Honor for the Consumer Protection Research Network” from Dr. Supattra Boonserm, Pharmacist, Secretary-General of the Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Public Health. The award aims to honor research network organizations that have cooperated with the Food and Drug Administration, leading to empirical research that has concretely benefited consumer protection on health products.
The CRI was one of eight organizations selected to receive this prestigious award. This recognition reflects the CRI’s commitment for over three decades as a research network in Thailand, with a strong emphasis on promoting and advancing research work, as well as developing new innovation to meet international safety standards, leading to elevating the quality of life of the Thai people and fostering the nation’s development in a sustainable manner.
