Ceremony to Mark the Auspicious Occasion of the 44th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn in 2026
On October 8, 2026, at 10.00 a.m., the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) held a ceremony to mark the auspicious occasion of the 44th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds of the CRI, along with other CRI executives, humbly offered a vase of flowers before a Royal Portrait of Her Royal Highness and signed a book of Royal Greetings to express their loyalty and gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s gracious contributions. The ceremony was held in the Meeting Room of the Chemistry Research Building at the CRI.
Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn has demonstrated great ability and steadfast determination in applying the knowledge acquired from Her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts and Master’s Degree in Thai Arts – both from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University – to perform numerous Royal Duties. These include fulfilling Her responsibilities as a member of the Royal Family and following in the footsteps of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana in upholding Buddhism and preserving Thai customs, traditions, arts, and culture through various projects for the benefit of the public.
Among these is the construction project of the Phra Dhamma Wisutthimongkol Dhamma Chedi Museum at Kesorn Silakhun Temple (Wat Pa Ban Tat), Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani Province, for which Her Royal Highness served as Chairperson of the design team. The Museum was established as a memorial to enshrine the relics of Luang Ta Phra Maha Bua Yanasampanno, disseminate His Dhamma teachings, and serve as a spiritual center for Buddhists.
Her Royal Highness has also extended Her Royal Patronage to Tharathip Chaipradit Temple in Chiang Mai Province and initiated a project to renovate its assembly hall. This features contemporary Lanna-style mural paintings created by Her Royal Highness. Inspired by The Story of Mahajanaka, a literary work authored by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the mural paintings pay tribute to and carry forward His Majesty’s Royal Aspirations through themes that reflect Buddhist teachings and principles for leading a virtuous life in contemporary society.
In addition, Her Royal Highness has devoted Herself to charitable activities and helped people affected by various natural disasters. Her numerous Royal Duties reflect Her unwavering dedication and perseverance in the service of the people and the preservation of the nation’s artistic and cultural heritage for future generations.
