Chulabhorn Research Institute Welcomes Executives from the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television on a Visit to Observe the Institute’s Operations
On July 22, 2026, at 09:30 a.m., in Meeting Room 1 of the Chulabhorn Research Institute Convention Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds of the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), along with the Institute’s executives, welcomed Lieutenant General Arwut Puttaamnouy, Director-General of the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television, and his executive team and staff. The visit aimed to observe the operations of the CRI, learn about its roles and missions, and discuss directions for collaboration on disseminating the royal activities of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the CRI, as well as on promoting the Institute’s achievements and key projects to a wider audience.
On this occasion, the executives and personnel from the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television received a briefing on various activities delivered by the Institute’s representatives. The presentation covered the Institute’s missions in research, academics, and the improvement of the public’s quality of life, all conducted under the royal aspiration of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the CRI.
Following the briefing, the delegation visited the Center for Biologics Research and Development (CBRD) and the Laboratory of Chemistry Research and Biomedical Research in Chemical Process Buildings 1 and 2, together with the Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology in the Biomedical Science Building, to observe the CRI’s research capabilities. The Institute conducts both basic and applied research across various fields to generate knowledge and develop technologies and innovations crucial for national development and elevating the public’s quality of life.
This visit marks another significant step in strengthening the collaboration between the Chulabhorn Research Institute and the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television. The partnership aims to visibly disseminate the royal activities and aspirations of the President of the CRI, while simultaneously publicizing the Institute’s scientific knowledge, research findings, and innovations to the general public as widely as possible. This will help enhance public awareness and understanding of the Chulabhorn Research Institute’s role as a leading national research institution dedicated to generating knowledge and advancing scientific and technological research to elevate the public’s quality of life and support the sustainable development of the country.
