On February 18, 2026 at 1.38 p.m., on the 6th Floor, Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building, Chulabhorn Hospital, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana graciously gave the opportunity to Khunying Charatsri Teepirach, Vice President for Administration and Director, Office of the President, Chulabhorn Research Institute, to bring donors to have an audience with Her Royal Highness, and humbly make contributions to the “Hataitip Fund” under the Chulabhorn Foundation. On this occasion, representatives from various sectors made contributions to the Fund and received Royally granted mementos from Her Royal Highness.
The “Hataitip Fund” is a Fund under the Royal Initiative and through the benevolence of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, Chair of the Fund’s Executive Committee. Its objective is to support the key missions of the government, the private sector, and the public in preventing and alleviating suffering caused by unrest, conflicts, natural disasters, or situations posing threats to people’s lives and property, as well as national security, especially the current situations along the Thai-Cambodian border. Her Royal Highness bestowed Her Royal Policy to provide budgetary support for various construction projects along the border under the operations of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the Royal Thai Army. The two agencies humbly received Her Royal Highness’s Royal Policy for implementation. These operations include the construction of bunkers made of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and shelters, each accommodating 40 and 60 civilians in high-risk areas, covering all border provinces. Construction is also underway for border walls and patrol roads in Pong Nam Ron District, Chanthaburi Province. These projects greatly contribute to mitigating problems in the affected areas, and are expected to effectively reduce the loss of life and property of the local residents and frontline troops resulting from the present security situation along the Thai-Cambodian border.
Since the official launch of the “Hataitip Fund” under the Chulabhorn Foundation, organizations from numerous sectors and individual donors have united to protect national sovereignty through their continued contributions to the “Hataitip Fund” in the effort to sustainably foster security and safety and restore peace and happiness to communities along the border.
