Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Graciously Presides over the Inauguration Ceremony of the “Hataitip Fund” Project under the Chulabhorn Foundation at the Chulabhorn Research Institute Convention Center, Lak Si District, Bangkok
On September 24, 2025, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana graciously presided over the inauguration ceremony of the “Hataitip Fund” Project under the Chulabhorn Foundation at the Chulabhorn Research Institute Convention Center, Lak Si District, Bangkok.
Her Royal Highness granted an audience to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds, Chulabhorn Research Institute, to report on the objectives of establishing the Hataitip Fund. The Fund was initiated by Her Royal Highness who also graciously accepted the position of Chair of the Hataitip Fund’s Executive Committee. Her Royal Highness has been committed to alleviating hardship and enhancing happiness, promoting better quality of life of the Thai people
and securing sustainable safety of the nation and the people in every situation. At the moment, the vital and urgent mission is to support the construction of walls and bunkers along the Thai-Cambodian border.
On this occasion, Her Royal Highness delivered an address on the launching of the Hataitip Fund. An excerpt reads “…It is my intention to use the Hataitip Fund to support the government and the private sector in preventing and addressing the crises of national security and people’s safety due to tensions or situations that pose danger to life and property as well as secure national sovereignty and elevate quality of life …I will make a personal contribution of one million baht to the “Hataitip Fund” as an initial fund to drive activities or public assistance projects aligned with the objectives of the establishment of the Fund to enhance safety and mitigate impact on the people and officials on duty to continue living peaceful and normal lives…”
Afterwards, Her Royal Highness made the contribution to mark the auspicious occasion and as initial fund to drive the activities or public assistance projects under the management of the Hataitip Fund’s Executive Committee. The vital objectives are to support the government, the private sector, and the people to prevent and address the issues due to unrests, conflicts, natural disasters, or situations that threaten life and property of the Thai people.
Her Royal Highness then granted an audience to the executives and personnel of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, Chulabhorn Graduate Institute, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Chulabhorn Foundation Committee, Hataitip Fund’s Executive Committee, Kasetsart University, and representatives from various organizations to individually present their financial contributions, joining Her Royal Highness in supporting the “Hataitip Fund”.
The “Hataitip Fund” under the Chulabhorn Foundation was established by the Royal Initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana with Her great benevolence and steadfast commitment. As Chair of the Hataitip Fund’s Executive Committee, it is Her Royal Highness’s intention to enhance progress, security, peace, and happiness for the nation and the Thai people. Even when the country is currently facing a border crisis, Her Royal Highness has steadfastly dedicated Herself and Her wisdom to seeking ways to provide urgent and concrete assistance, by establishing the “Hataitip Fund”, a key tool to support the government in mitigating suffering and hardship of the troops who are defending the border, as well as protecting the civilians affected by the unrest in the area, ensuring that they can safely live their lives and overcome the crisis soon.
