Chulabhorn Research Institute Holds Ceremony on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun’s Birthday Anniversary on May 5, 2025
On May 2, 2025 at 10.00 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds, Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), together with other executives, offered well wishes and placed vases of flowers in front of the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun to mark the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness who turned 41 on May 5, 2025 and to express their loyalty and in recognition of Her Royal Highness’s innumerable contributions to the great benefit of the Thai people and the nation. The ceremony was held in the Reception Room of the Chemistry Research Building at the CRI.
Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun is the youngest daughter of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol. Her Royal Highness has tirelessly eased the burdens of Her Mother by promoting the Thai arts and culture, upholding Buddhism, as well as advancing agriculture as a means to improve the quality of life and livelihood of the Thai people. The Royal Initiative “Sa-rae Aditaya Project” was established as an Agricultural Learning Center, fulfilling Her Royal Highness’s intention, and under the supervision of the “Aditayadorn Agricultural Project”, at Ampuen Reservoir, Tenmee Subdistrict, Mueang Surin District, Surin Province. The Center serves as a source of transfer of agricultural knowledge, technologies, and innovations in alignment with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. The project also serves as a model for sustainable agricultural occupations through development, promotion, support, and potential upgrading of Thai farmers both from the old and new generations towards becoming Smart Farmers capable of practicing the agricultural occupation with efficiency, knowledge, and expertise in planning, production, and marketing. Combined with the application of technology to entail innovation, the project adds value to community products and strengthens community economic development. This mission lays an important foundation of moving the nation forward towards security, prosperity, and sustainability. The Project illustrates Her Royal Highness’s immeasurable benevolence and dedication to the happiness and well-being of all Thai people. On this auspicious occasion, the CRI joins the nation in expressing their heartfelt wishes for Her Royal Highness’s long life, excellent health, and continued happiness.
