Ceremony to Mark the Auspicious Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn in 2024


On October 8, 2024, the Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) held a ceremony to mark the auspicious occasion of the 42nd Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds of the CRI, along with other CRI executives, humbly offered presents and signed a book of Royal Greetings to express their loyalty and in gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s immeasurable contributions and steadfast commitment to following the footsteps of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the CRI, to uphold Buddhism, continue and preserve good customs and traditions, as well as Thai arts and culture, reflecting the way of life, wisdom, and rich cultural heritage of the Thai people – a valuable legacy that shall remain with the nation forever. The ceremony was held in the Meeting Room of the Chemistry Research Building at the CRI.




It has long been recognized by all that Her Royal Highness Princess Siribhachudabhorn has tirelessly devoted Herself to performing numerous Royal Duties with perseverance and great ability. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts and a Master’s Degree in Thai Arts from the Department of Thai Arts, Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University, Her Royal Highness has applied acquired knowledge to perform a variety of Royal Duties. These include serving as Chairperson of the design team of the construction project of the Phra Dhamma Wisutthimongkol Dhamma Chedi Museum at Kesorn Silakhun Temple (Wat Pa Ban Tat), Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani Province; acting as Royal Patron for the renovation of the assembly hall, the mural paintings, the well of divine water, and landscaping at Tharathip Chaipradit Temple, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, and for the renovation project of Pha Lad Temple, Chiang Mai Province, to function as a spiritual center for Buddhists. The Temple is also a beautiful historicallysignificant site with long historical value which should be preserved as a cultural heritage for future generations.
