Fundamentals of Environmental Immunotoxicology and Reproductive Toxicology (November 10-14, 2025)
This course provides an overview of blood cells and the mammalian immune system, including a detailed description of all three arms of the immune response, how toxic chemicals can impact normal immune system homeostasis to result in adverse health outcomes, cellular/functional methodologies for determining the potential immunotoxicity of a given chemical, and how immunotoxicology relates to other scientific fields, such as drug development and risk assessment.
Requirement : Participants should have some basic knowledge on the biology of the immune and reproductive systems, as well as methodologies for assessing the functioning of these systems.
Fellowship coverage: The fellowship will cover course fees, round-trip airfare, accommodation allowance, daily stipend, training material, and health insurance.
