Office of Special Activities is responsible for development works, especially people's quality of life improvement. The main programs are Restoration of Environment and Quality of Life Improvement of Villagers in the Southern Part of Thailand which is known as Chulabhorn Pattana Project, and Red Sapphire Project along the Thai-Cambodian border. Infrastructure was set up in both project area while several occupation training courses including agriculture, livestock and handicrafts were conducted for villagers.
Although both Chulaborn Pattana Project and Red Sapphire Project have been handed over to responsible agencies, Office of Special Activities is still conducting various projects to give continual support to the villagers in order to develop their occupations, and at the same time conserve environment.
