Site Visit Meeting between Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI) and Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, Vice President for Administration, Building and Grounds, Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), Professor Emeritus Dr. Khunying Mathuros Ruchirawat, Vice President for Research and Academic Affairs of the CRI, along with the executives and researchers of the CRI, welcomed Dr. Nirawat Thammajak, Deputy Director, Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), Asst. Prof. Dr. Chinnawut Pipatpanukul, Deputy Director, SRI Development Mission Group of Manpower and Knowledge Institutions, and a delegation to a meeting as part of TSRI’s site visit to discuss the CRI’s projects which have been supported by the National Science Research and Innovation Fund. The two parties exchanged information and forged understanding of the action plan and budget management for the potential assessment of the CRI. The meeting was held on June 12, 2024 in the Meeting Room 1 at the CRI Convention Center. During the meeting, the executives of the CRI presented the overview of the research and budget management as supported by the National Science Research and Innovation Fund. Moreover, the researchers highlighted the progress of their research and presented their outstanding accomplishments and the research supporting infrastructure, of which budget has been allocated by the Fund. Royal Visit to the People’s Republic of China by Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol from May 6-18, 2024 Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol, President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, has long recognized the importance of academic and research collaborations with the world’s leading institutes in the fields of medical science and technology to enhance knowledge and research and development in medicine, aiming to elevate the country’s medical standards to international level. In May, the President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute paid a royal visit to the People’s Republic of China to continue academic cooperation, exchange of knowledge and development of advanced research in medical science and technology, as well as promotion of long-standing relationship in arts and culture, at the formal invitation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangkok.
